A Good Workout.

Being 23 and out of work can be a hard experience, I had worked all my life and enjoyed the financial benefits of working. The company I worked for had folded and being unemployed just wasn't an option.

A quick visit to my local gym was to provide an opportunity I couldn't refuse; I had been a member of the same gym for as long as I could remember. A chance discussion with the gym manger led to me being asked if I was interested in a few shifts to cover holidays.

Mark stood explaining that there was nothing to it, as I was only temporary I wouldn't need formal qualifications. All I had to do was supervise the weights room.

Within a month Mark was so impressed that I was being given 4 shifts a week, the serious bodybuilders and I would talk about training techniques, although my real strength was with the young ladies that had just joined.

Whether it was my rugged gook looks, my tanned, well toned body, or just my ability to talk to them, to this day I am not quite sure. Mark spotted it straight away and stood explaining how to do assessments of new members.
