Claire and I had been together for five years. We met at college when we were both eighteen, and after a whirlwind romance we married after only a year together. Within another six months we had our first child.

We adjusted really well, and our relationship went from strength to strength, but after our fourth year things started to change slightly. The sex dried up, going from everyday to two or three times a week, to just once a week if I was lucky. Our relationship was fine, but the lack of sex was starting to put a bit of a strain on things. We had somehow turned into friends rather than lovers.
