Young At heart.

Sitting down on the cold black leather chair, the silence of the house seemed deafening. It didn't take long for my eyes to slowly drift to the black cup on the computer desk. A cup that until two months ago would bring a smile to my lips even on the darkest of days. Now it seemed to taunt me with five simple words

My two kids had bought me it for father's day several years back, the vendors even managed to have my kids picture printed on the side of the mug, Looking at their smiling faces on the mug seemed to rub more salt into the already painful wound.

The week that they bought the mug from me was the turning point of a reasonably happy life, although at the time I didn't realise when I said yes to my wife's request without even listening to her, how much grief it would bring to me and my family.

For months my wife had been talking about returning to work after the kids went in school, we had two beautiful children. Mathew and Gemma. They were identical twins and were the product of a wonderful marriage.
