The Athlete and the Genius Part Five

When TK woke up the next morning, she had to smile as she knew that this was the beginning of a new semester and that soon she would be playing softball for real. In a month and a half, she would start practice for real and soon thereafter, the real games would begin. She got up and went to the bathroom where Carmen was combing her hair as she talked to her mother as she did every morning. TK gave her a kiss on the cheek and then went on to the toilet to pee. Carmen didn't bother to step out as her mother already knew what was going on between her and TK. When TK had finished, she washed her hands and then she took the brush from Carmen's hand and she began to brush it out for her. TK could see Carmen smiling as she did this. When she had it brushed out, Carmen handed her a hair clip to put up her hair for her. Carmen was wearing her hair out everywhere now except for when she attended class or was going to work in the lab. It was just easier for her to have her hair out of the way at those times and TK couldn't blame her for that as she put her own hair in a ponytail when she was working out or playing. It just kept it out of her eyes and out of her way. They helped each other get ready and then they made their way out of the room.

TK had taken easier classes this semester as she knew she would be spending a lot of time practicing and playing games. She wanted to make sure that she could pass her classes and once she got this semester over with, she would have a better idea as to how much time she would ...
