Lost for words.

The bright morning sun rose slowly up out of the crystal blue water; there was a crispness in the air signalling the slow change into autumn. Sliding the patio door open, I stepped out before raising my arms in a slow lingering stretch.

For the past three weeks, my beach house had become my home, I needed time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life, Being an established author at the age of 26, had given me a life that few people could dream of, yet lately all it had given me was heartache and pain.

My last book had been a resounding flop, the magic that had sold all the other books had evaporated and left me with pages of meaningless words formed into a half baked idea of what my readers would enjoy.

Sitting down on the cold wooden chair my mind started to drift back to the days when I first started to write, the countless hours in front of my dad's computer until the early hours of the morning.
