I had been working in Washington DC for almost six months now. I walk almost two miles to the job and have enjoyed it. The walk has done me a lot of good since I work too much and don't exercise. I bought a set of head phones for my PDA and listen to music during my walk to cut a lot of the noise out. I have learned to really enjoy the city. The people are friendlier then I thought they would be and the women, some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen have passed me by on Constitution Avenue as I'm heading back to my apartment. Let's not forget about the Capital building and the House and Senate buildings. The architectural is wonderful.

Like I said earlier, I've been here for about six months. I live here on a part time bases which means leaving home Monday and then leaving DC Friday afternoon back home for the weekend.

I live mostly in the apartment alone which does not bother me at all. Sometimes I'll get a roommate for the evening of someone just passing through. The good part is it doesn't happen often and I usually know about it in advanced. The price you have to pay for cheap living. You would not believe the price of real estate three blocks from the capital. Talking with neighbors I was surprised at the amount of people living like I do in our nation capital.
