THE PURCHASE

Titus was in his villa carving a piece of wood when he heard something outside; horses and a male voice. It didn't sound like any of his field hand slaves and so he put the wood down, it would eventually be a lion and he'd sell it to the toy man, and went outside. "What can I do for you?" Titus asked the man. He scanned the horizon and saw the glow of the setting sun over his field.

"I was hoping you would be so kind as to allow my horses some of your water."
