A Winters Tale.

Throwing the last of the fishing gear into the boot of the car then heading back into the cabin to retrieve my case and finish up, I stood watching in dismay as the small flakes of snow suddenly got larger.

The way things had been going for me, I guess I wasn't surprised that the last two days of my break were ruined by the Scottish weather. Heading back into the Cabin I stood watching the snow thicken, then suddenly realised that I had probably stayed a day too long.

I was now at that point where I had to make a decision, the problem was, there really was only one decision that I could make, whether I liked it or not, I had to sit it out until the roads cleared.

I wasn't surprised that this had happened, the year I had been through, it wouldn't have surprised me if a satellite had fallen from the sky and hit me and my boat on the lake.

It all started at the turn of the year when my wife packed her bags and left a note on the fireplace. In the note she claimed that she had never loved me, I couldn't help but laugh as I read the note.

Had it really taken her six years to discover that she didn't love me in the first place, by March I had found out the real reason for my wife's ...
