*authors note:: i know how frustrating it can be to find a good story and then have the author take it in a totally different direction than you thought it would go. i haven't gotten any complaints yet, but i'm sure they're coming. please feel free to take my characters and jump off my story line at any point! i would love to read someone else's vision of my original idea. in fact, the idea of it kinda turns me on. a lot. :)

When I knocked on the door, Nikoili opened it and motioned me into the room. Room service had been and gone and there were four places set at the table in the foyer. I walked over and sat in the chair Martin had pulled for me. Once I was seated, he sat himself next to me, then Niki and Vlad took seats across the table. I was relieved I wouldn't have to look at Martin all night. I wasn't sure I could watch him without becoming embarrassed, or turned on. Martin carried a conversation through dinner as though nothing had happened. He wasn't as jovial as he could sometimes be during our meals together, but he was just as inquisitive.
