Paying the Bills.

They say that necessity is the mother of invention, how true those words are. Living in the south coast of England is prohibitively expensive, like most of the people I knew, my partner and I both worked.

We had bought a nice house a few miles from a large seaside resort, having used all our savings to pay the deposit and to decorate, I had planned to take as much over time as possible to build up the savings again.

The problem I faced was that my workplace had a sudden dip in orders, which meant there wasn't any overtime to be had. With Christmas fast approaching I put out the feelers, to see if there were any part time evening jobs that I could do.
