I recently transferred to a new school. Being new, it's hard to make friends as the students who go there already formed their own circle of friends during their freshmen year. I'm neither the drama club type nor the nerdy type. I've been asked to join cheerleading because of my looks, long legs, long hair and busty. I refused because I don't think I could manage to smile while doing back breaking routines in front of a lot of people. Besides, I'm not perky enough.

During one of our lab classes, I got partnered with Jen. She's petite with creamy white skin, straight brown hair just above her shoulders and big blue eyes. She's a bit reserved but we got to chatting while doing experiments and found myself being comfortable with her. Soon after we became close and we often hang out together.

One morning while I was walking down the hallway on my way to class, Allison, the head of the cheerleading club walked up to me and said,

"Hi Paige, listen, I've got a party coming up this Friday night and I'd like you to come."

"Oh, ok can I bring a friend?" I asked thinking that Jen might want to go too.

"A boyfriend?" She asked mischieviously.
