It was that time of year again. The whole family was going out to Alberta to ski for a week. This time was different. They were taking the nanny - she had used up her vacation so we were going to take her on vacation. It would work out though because Michelle had to leave part way through the week and Frank would need help taking care of their new daughter.

Michelle called the foundation once they were settled - against Frank's advice. The foundation was having a crisis - Someone had forged some cheques and money was missing. Michelle was the chair of the finance committee so it was her responsibility to pull together a communiqué based on the just completed forensic audit, for the board that was to meet on Thursday.

They begged Michelle to come early and so she called her aunt and arranged to come early. She always stayed with her aunt when she went to the quarterly board meetings. Michelle took the car and left Frank at the resort. At the end of the week they would meet at the airport as they flew home. Mary, (the nanny) would take care of the baby if Frank couldn't handle it. The baby was asleep as Michelle left early the next morning hours before sunrise.
