As we'd sunbathed we'd been talking, with Rachel telling me how she first met and married her late husband and about bringing up her two children. Then she asked me what I did for a living that at eighteen needed an office.

I started at the beginning telling her that when my grandmother died when I was fifteen, she'd left me a large old house similar to the one we lived in, that her and my grandfather had converted into flats. Because of my age she'd appointed her solicitor to act as my agent and he'd suggested I keep it and earn an income from it. I'd followed his advice and was making a good living from it, especially as I was still living with my parents. I'd also dabbled in other things which luckily made money, but were I'm ashamed to say not exactly legal; those days I told her were mostly behind me now.

"I'm getting cold Phil", said Rachel after we'd been out in the garden most of the afternoon; the sun was going down and I must admit it was becoming cool; both being naked didn't help I suppose.

"You're not alone; let's get indoors", I said.

"I'll go first shall I"? She said, laughing.

"Only if it means I get to see your backside as you walk", I agreed; laughing. ...
