Matron of Honor--chapter 2

They were closing the plane doors when they arrived and for a moment Rhianna let herself hope that they would miss it. But the ticket agent bolted down the boarding ramp yelling "Wait!" and when Eddie and Rhianna strolled casually to the plane they found him bodily blocking the exasperated flight attendant.

"Thanks a lot, buddy!" Eddie told the ticket agent, who suddenly looked very confused and wandered back up the ramp.

"What is going on here?" the flight attendant. She was a middle aged woman with short curly brown hair. She was staring with open disapproval at Rhianna's outfit.

"Just boarding the plane, ma'am," said Eddie. "Aren't you a little old to be a stewardess?"

She immediately shifted her disapproval to Eddie, her eyes flashing dangerously.

"No I am not!" she said. "And the title is Flight Attendant."

"No," Eddie corrected. "The title is Sky Whore."
