Finally an end to 2007. I can't say I have been waiting for it to finish but it is always exciting to get a year finished. I'm almost getting to Simone's best friend Cait's house where the party will be. It's an awesome place to be having a party, big area, tennis court and a pool. Best way to be seeing of a year especially in 40 degree heat! Its early evening, about 9 pm and the sun is about to go down and I walk up the long driveway. I soon discover that there are not too many people around just basically the close group of friends and I think of what a waste considering how big the house is. I do find most people around the pool and tennis court and notice that one of them is Simone. I hadn't really seen or spoken to her since we fucked at her house but I can understand why seeing as her ex is my best friend. He is here too but distracted with one of his latest mistresses either on the phone or in person. There are also a few other girls that I went to school with that I have often fantasized about and seeing them in bikinis is a welcome surprise.

We soon settle around the pool drinking and talking about the past year and there is about fifteen or so people and I soon work it out that this really is the biggest it will get. After a few beers and the heat ...
