Anyone observing Rachael could tell that she was extremely nervous. Sitting on a black leather couch in a waiting room, she shifted her legs back and forth again and pretended to be reading a magazine. There was no one else in the room with her and as she glanced around, she could see that there was only one other exit than the one she had entered in – a black door. Next to the door was some sort of an intercom, she assumed it was there to tell her when she could enter. Someone had spoken to her, a female voice, and that person had instructed her to wait there. She knew why she was nervous. She was here on account of her friend Tasha who insisted on her coming here. She remembered the conversation they had not but a week ago at a café....

“You need to go there and see Dr. Blake. He can help you with your problems with men Rachael. You’re going to be an old maid if you don’t discuss what you’re feeling and get over your fear of men. Not all men are like Jake.”

“I know Tasha. Who is this guy Dr. Blake? I mean, have you met him?”

“That’s just it Tasha, no one has. I can’t tell you the mystery of it. All I can say is that he helps a lot of women get over their sexual insecurities and their fear of men. No one ever has seen him; it’s not necessary. In fact, it’s part of the therapy.”
