I sat in my car, in darkness except for the lights at various intervals in the large parking lot. I watched the light twinkle and reflect off of the glass building. It was 3:13 A.M. I glanced at the door and saw some more warehouse workers leaving. I flipped open my cell phone, trying to look like there was a reason I was still sitting in the parking lot.

I was waiting for Brody. Stupid? Yes. Wrong? Absolutely. But my heart just ached for him. I wished it didn't. It had been over a year since we had "broken up" in the parking lot.
