From a very early age, I realised that I would probably follow in my fathers footsteps, My dad was a mechanic and by the time I could crawl, my parents realised that I had the same fascination with cars that my dad had.

Two years before my older brother was born, my dad set up his own garage in the back of my parent's first house. With only enough room for one car, it didn't take long for my dad to prove how good he was and the fact that he had literally no overheads, also meant that he could undercut most of the other garages in the area.

By the time I turned 10 my dad had went into partnership with my uncle Dan, it seemed like a marriage made in heaven, while my dad excelled in welding and general mechanics, my uncle Dan had spent 7 years working with racing cars.
