I just recently started a new job as a sales person at a ladies shoe department at the mall in my neighborhood. I figured that I could earn some extra money between semesters to help pay for my college tuition and books. The manager that hired me told me that her store does not have too much turn over of sales people because the money is good and her staff usually stays on for years. I soon found out why the sales guys love this job.

During my first day at the store we seemed to be overloaded and swamped with customers. I didn't realize just how much women love to buy shoes. Most of the ladies would try on about 10 to 12 pairs of different shoes before they find one that they are happy with.

Our store has many chairs that face in different directions of the store so that the customers can feel that they will have enough space to try on the shoes and also give a sense of privacy from other customers. The manager says that is why women love to shop at her store. I believe the women like the layout of the store more because it gives privacy to flirt with the young salesmen.
