My name is Charlie Boyer. I am a math teacher. I teach algebra to junior high kids in an incredibly small town not far from a real city. I somehow managed to get through all of my twenties without ever getting into a serious relationship. Now, I am 32 and not sure that I will ever meet the right woman and have kids of my own.

Things changed as suddenly and quickly as it was possible. The first day of school had arrived, and I finally found a student who had actual talent in mathematics. She said her mom could not afford to pay me, but I did not care. I told her I would do it free of charge, as long as she promised to do her work, go to the private school, and make something of her life. She came to school the next morning and told me her mom agreed. We started her tutoring the next week.
