Amin could not help shaking his head while they walked through the magnificent ruins of the Parthenon. The place was usually crawling with tourists but today, Amin and Alanda had the entire place to themselves. Amin casually mentioned that a local festival had probably kept everyone away from the ruined temple and that was definitely fine with him. It was all designed by Phydias , perhaps the greatest of all the Greek artists. But now there is nothing but shattered marble, a mere hint of what once was. This magnificent temple was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Even Alexander was impressed with the Parthenon when he conquered the city."

Alanda looked up at him with intense, deep blue eyes. Her lovely golden hair was partly covered by a white cap, shading her face from the afternoon sun. "What was Alexander like? And why do they call this place the Parthenon? " Amin answered the second part of her question ...
