Rediscovered Romance

Mary Riley was sixty when she sold her home and moved into the brand spanking new condominiums south of the town of Tyler Michigan.

The farm had just gotten too much to handle after Shawn died and none of the boys had wanted it. The land developer who purchased it was ecstatic. He bought the whole three hundred and twenty acres with a large lake, river frontage and trees everywhere. He paid handsomely but knew he would quadruple his investment when it was turned into a subdivision.

The Condo was the perfect size 1800 sq ft with a Master Bedroom she giggled maybe it should be called a Mistress bedroom when you were single. Anyway it had all that plus two smaller rooms. She planned to use one as an office the other as a guest bedroom. The basement had room for an exercise room, laundry facilities, and storage. It could also be used for overflow guests if all the children and their kids were home at the same time.

No more snow shoveling, or leaf raking for Mary. She could and would wash the inside of her windows but the association took care of the rest and her flowers could be grown in barrels on her large redwood deck off the family room overlooking the seventh tee on the golf course. ...
