Their Unexpected Reunion

"No, no, no, no, no!!!" She exclaimed.

Jeff slowed his step and turned at the sound. The woman was standing at a nearby terminal gate, surrounded by a crush of people waiting to board the plane. Her back was turned away from him, but he could see her thick, long, wavy, black hair was a gorgeous mess, like she'd been running her fingers through it. Just then, she plunged her hands into her hair, pulling it back from her face as she bent over the carry-on bag that was open on the chair in front of her. She continued her murmurs of distress, much less audibly, but apparently still frustrated. A flight attendant walked up to her, and after a brief conversation, the woman shook her head, and the flight attendant walked away.
