Stella Benson grew up in California, where looks matter most. Her childhood was everything you could imagine; a cute little girl with many friends. Unfortunately, this changed when she hit 13 years old. Her face filled up with unpleasant acne.

Her mom took her to see a doctor and he said that using birth-control pills could improve her skin a lot. Her mother consulted with her favorite minister and he told her that putting her daughter on the pill would push her into having sex with guys. That was the end of the pill option.
