I think every couple's sex life reaches a point where they either want to go that little bit further or start to slow things down. Jerry and I had reached that point in our lives. Our sex life was great and we still indulged most days of the week, and we did it anywhere around the house whenever the urge took us. But I sensed that we were reaching the point when we needed to think about the future.

We had talked about different scenarios more over the last few months and had first considered swinging clubs, but we had been put off when we watched a TV documentary about our local one which turned out to be rather seedy.
