2002 : i went on holiday with my ex boyfriend rob we were together for 6 years and we split up 5 years previous and we ve not really been intimate since though we re good friends and go on holiday sometimes.

we d been away a few days and the weather had been crap, we drove around a lot looking for some decent weather. when we were in spain, at alicante - playa de san juan i think, and rob and i went for dinner and a drink at a cafe. the waitress was really friendly and she was kind of smiling at rob. i assumed she thought we were a couple - no reason to think otherwise.

we stayed a long time and had a lot to drink and the waitress was smiling at me too, i thought. the place was getting empty and she was i think getting ready to go off shift, so she came and asked could she sit with us and practice her english. she spoke good english anyway, with an american accent. she invited us to her apartment for a drink, after a while. we went, too. we d had quite enough but we still went.
