Jason got back to his office and sat down at his desk in a daze as the events of the past weeks just seemed to overwhelm him. He just returned from the final meeting in the sale of his company to General Computing and the realization that he was now a billionaire was just setting in. He started the company about 10 years ago on a shoestring and just parlayed that original $5000 investment into two billion dollars! The GC lawyers told him that the money would be wired into his account within the hour and just to check, he called the bank and they confirmed that the deposit had been made.

He just sat there for a moment taking it all in as he had to pack up his things and be out of the office by Friday since they were sending in a team to take over the operations of the company. He had no partners so all the money was his and they didn't want him to stay around in a supervisory or consulting capacity so in essence, he had nothing to do anymore and the feeling was very strange. The first thing he did was call Tammy and tell her that everything went smoothly and, as of a few minutes ago, they were billionaires. He told her that if her boss gave her a hard time, she could buy the company now and fire him and she had a good laugh over the thought. He told her he'd see her at home later and tell her all about the final meeting this morning.
