I was having a rough week and my girlfriends decided to pry me out of my apartment to hit the town. We had been to three different clubs and one of us ran into someone we worked with at every one of them. We all decided that we were in the mood to misbehave and didn't want any drinking stories circulating around our offices the following Monday so we were getting into a cab when Sheila told us about a little dive we could go to without meeting anyone we knew.

I told Karen that one drink couldn't hurt and I was game if she was. So we settled in and started chatting. The DJ came back from her break and started playing some really good music and I was feeling my drink. I stood up and grabbed Sheila's hand and she grabbed Karen's. ...
