THE BIKE RIDE

David used to ride a motorcycle in high school and college. That was before I knew him. I had always wanted to ride a bike, but my first husband never had one. As a result, bike riding was just something I had never experienced.

One night, an old college buddy of David's called the house. He had moved to another town nearby. He and David laughed and talked for over an hour. Then, I heard David talking to him about bikes.

After getting off the phone, David told me all about his friend and their conversation. "Mike is a buddy I had in college. He and I partied together, but we also rode our bikes together. He wants to get together this weekend and go riding like old times."

"Are you going?"

"It would be great to see Mike again. He has two Harley's and said I could ride one. I think it would be a lot of fun." he replied.

"Is this a guy's only thing or can women go too?" I asked.

David kissed me and replied, "Baby, you know I don't do anything without you." ...
