Chapter 13

Belinda heard Edward's strange story in silence and obvious disbelief. When he'd finished she spoke and her voice was shaky, "That's all impossible. You must be mad to believe it! And yet you speak with such conviction and so much detail."

Edward sipped some more tea before finally responding. "Perhaps if you come with me to Lincoln I can prove it to you. Will you at least withhold judgment until I present my evidence?"
