One Good Deed Deserves Another.

You swear under your breath as you pull your car out of the traffic and into the side of the road. You are cutely aware of the rain streaming down the windscreen and curse the fact that you've ventured out in nothing more than a skirt and blouse. You sigh deeply as you turn off the engine, crack open the door and step out, your shoes squelching soggily on the muddy grass verge. You rummage around in the car's boot and have just located a rather old and rusty jack when you hear the rumble of another car pulling in close behind you.

"Jump back in and stay dry", he advises with confident determination in his voice, "I'll have this changed for you in no time."

You have yet to utter a word and it is with a great deal of bemusement that you slide back behind the driver's wheel but the second you're out of the cold rain, you are immediately grateful for the help.

You turn up the heater as you feel the jack raise the back of the car and have just closed your eyes when you hear a polite tap on your window. You sit up guiltily and rapidly wind down your window, noting the water running through the man's thick dark hair and over his open, ...
