My boyfriend is a baseball player for a minor league team. It is hardly a glamorous life. Will makes little money and we don't get to see each other all that much from early spring until fall. The team spends half of their season traveling on long bus trips when they're playing away games. Still, Will wouldn't give it up for the world, nor would I ask him to. He loves the game, and he has a good shot at making it to the majors. We're both in our early twenties, and we figure if he makes it to the big leagues someday that will be great, and if not we've got plenty of time ahead of us to find 'real job'. For now though, to help make ends meet, I have a job working at the ball park, in the team's "front office" - which is basically the team's business office. We rent a small but very cute apartment just around the corner from the ball park.

Recently the team had an afternoon game that was canceled due to rain.
