Where I started, where I've been, where I am now... My life. Chapter One.

My name is Debbie Cox. I know it's a horrible cliché and I don't know what my mother was thinking! I'm a fairly average girl, 5' 4" 122lbs with an average frame, blond hair, and green eyes. I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere and moved to a mid-sized town as soon as I could manage it.

I was a cheerleader in school and a member of the yearbook team. I had a lot of friends but wasn't interested in the boyfriend thing for most of high school. My first boyfriend wasn't the sports star of the school, or even a seriously popular guy. Everyone liked him well enough but he was almost a nerd. We kind of just "fell" into our relationship.

Aaron joined the yearbook team our senior year as a photographer. I was a team leader for the girl's sports section so we spent a lot of time together at the various games, making sure we had great shots for it. During down time we talked quite a bit and discovered we had a lot in common. We were both in single parent families and worked for the extra things our moms just couldn't give us. I was surprised to find out that he worked two doors down from me at the strip mall in town. I worked at the local Big Gal's and he worked at the shoe store.
