MOTHER'S DAY

It was unusual that I should be home this early. This morning I had closed a significant deal for cash management services with a major corporation. Everyone at the Bank said how lucky the Bank was that I headed up treasury management sales in this multi-state region. Certainly Clarence Harrison, Jr., in Milwaukee, my boss, was excited at my conquest, and I liked it when my boss was excited. He said, "That was a great job you did in closing the deal, TJ. Gray would be home from high school soon. She had only a few weeks of classes left in her Senior Year. I was looking forward to the summer as an opportunity to continue to become closer with her before she went away to college.

My daughter and I had never been as close as I might have wanted.
