Part Two

The next morning I got John aside and told him I was pissed about what he pulled. He just laughed and said, "I want to watch you delete those pictures and I want to you to do it now."

I got the laptop out and fired it up, then with John looking, I deleted all the pictures I had showed him the evening before. All of them, except for the duplicate copies and the video that is, plus the new pictures of him and Ellen fucking.

Things were a bit strained between me and John for the rest of the weekend but we both tried hard to not let the girls see our disquiet. When Sunday morning rolled around, we cleaned up the cabin, put things away, said our good byes and all headed home. Beth went to pick the kids up from her mother's and after an early dinner and a little TV we all went to bed.

For the entire next week we didn't have occasion to speak with John or Ellen. At least I didn't. Beth and John probably talked but I don't think they discussed what occurred at the cabin. She was much too relaxed around me and I think I would have noticed any anxiety that she might have otherwise been feeling.
