Looking outside you would hardly know that summer is supposed to be here. It's rainy, it's dreary, it's one of those days better spent under the covers. I try to shake off my Monday blues but the workload awaits, nothing fun about it just stuff that needs to get done.

My phone rings, a little shiver runs through me. I always get this first thing Monday's when he calls. Perhaps it's the fact that I missed him and I'm just waiting to hear his voice, or maybe it's the fact that I spent a good part of Sunday morning going over in my head just what I wanted him to do to me.

We fought hard last week and I questioned us openly, something that did not go over well. We made up anyway..or did we? I could not even answer my own question.

The voice is not his, an interesting turn of events. It is a voice that reaches me on an entirely different level. He is the one that inspired me, my first lusty emails, my adventure as it began. I must have written well over thirty stories for him, more perhaps.

Almost as if he knows things are not okay, he askes me " so ..how are you?" I feel a flush spread across my cheeks and look around, does anyone notice ? I feel excited and completely exposed all at once.

I lie of course " I'm fine, how are you?" I think about how lame I ...
