Storm walked around the small room and inspected the pictures Sadie had set up on the nightstand next to the bed. One was an old black and white picture of a young couple dressed in wedding finery. Must be her parents, he thought. He saw a dated family picture of Sadie with her parents looking like any normal [censored]. He smiled at the expression on her face. She looked like she was not at all happy to be photographed. He picked up another picture. Much more recent. It showed Sadie smiling with an older woman who looked very frail, her pasty complexion showing through the make-up her wheelchair covered by a bright shawl. This had to be Sadie's mom.

"I just need to pack real quick and we can be out." Sadie said, coming out of the bathroom dressed caually in well worn jeans, a white t-shirt covered by a bulky red cardigan that had a certain flair to it though it had clearly seen better days. She crossed to the closet and took out two suitcases which she filled with her belongings and straighetened up.

"That's it."
