THE WEEKEND GETAWAY

The weekend had gone great. Alice and I had just decided to get away for a couple of days. The winter seemed to be dragging on forever and the walls were closing in at home.

Like lots of mid westerners, we had just driven to the next town and checked into a nice hotel with a nice bar, indoor pool and a few rooms with hot tubs. Like other things that seem to hibernate in winter, our sex lives needed a little kick start.

Alice and were your typical middle aged married couple. We were very much in love but the sexual part had seemed to slow down a little as of late. It seemed that either one of us was tired or something or other came up to prevent a spontaneous leap in the sack.
