Chapter sixteen - Back to the Routine, Unfortunately

As they woke up the next morning Ben and Marilyn each showered separately before beginning their new weekly tradition. This morning Ben made the breakfast for Marilyn as he had showered first and by the time she was done breakfast was sitting on the table waiting for her. As she came out for breakfast they sat down and began talking about what had transpired over the last few weeks. They had missed this the previous two Sundays as they did brunch with Chloe and Jack one Sunday and the next Marilyn was too focused on teasing Ben to enjoy the quiet peaceful alone time.

As they talked about what had happened the previous night, namely how they both had gotten so excited about a girl they had never met before that night, the two realized just how close they were becoming. They did not have any of the jealous problems that many marriages would have with the events that were transpiring, and if anything they felt like they were getting closer together.
