At about eleven the Saturday morning Peggy received a phone call from Marsha asking her to come to a pool party that afternoon. Peggy explained she'd promised Marky she'd spend the day with him and his cousin.

"Well, bring them along. Peggy, this is the last chance everyone will have to get together before we all go our separate ways. Come on, it'll be fun." she said.

In school, Marsha was always pretty nice to her. She was one of the few of the "cool kids" that didn't try to make her life miserable. Peggy called Marky and told him about the invitation from Marsha.
