Just Trying To Help Ch. 2

Chapter one was about Larry's early marriages. The death of his wife and the divorce of his cheating second wife. He manages to go on and he meets someone new by accident.

Chapter 2:

Life went on for me and Kim. I dated but there was no one serious. I figured I learned my lesson. When I wanted an opinion about a woman I was dating, all I had to do was turn to Kimmy. She always had my best interests at heart.

I mentioned that I get crazy e-mails. Then of course my life seems to follow some kind of pattern. I received an e-mail story about a car breaking down and the fellow helping a woman and her kids out.

Here‘s part of that e-mail story: I was driving home from a meeting this evening about five, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cursing, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the "quickie mart" building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a gas pump, so I got out to see if ...
