The Making of a Super Model by Lady Grey

I was feeling pretty down; my latest interview had not gone well--over qualified, the guy had said. How could I be over qualified to work in a bar? Thinking about bars, I needed a drink. I looked around; over the road was a small, pleasant looking place. Red and white gingham tablecloths decorated the four tables set out outside the bar. I made my way across the road and sank down onto a chair.

A smiling waiter came out. "What can I get for you?" he asked, a pleasant voice betraying a slight foreign accent.

"Red wine, please."

"Large or medium?"

I would have loved a bottle, but I only had small change in my purse, and my plastic was way out of credit.

"Large, please." I really needed a drink and at least a large one might improve my mood.

The waiter returned and placed a large glass of red in front of me. I nodded my thanks and took a sip; it was nice.
