Ten years had passed since Kevin Cliff hung his skates following a successful pro hockey career. Time had added extra weight to his rugged and stocky frame, but the muscle was still there and there was one I craved more than any other...

Life has a strange way of working things out. As a teenage girl, my locker was plastered with his hockey cards and newspaper clippings. Even then I had no doubt we would end up together.
