Anna's lifelong dream had been to become a fashion model but, sadly, it was a dream that had all but faded by the time she reached twenty and married her long-term boyfriend.

In truth, there had been little likelihood that the dream could ever become a reality. The local secondary school offered no courses that would help her to fulfil her ambitions and there was no prospect of finding a career of this nature in the small country town where she grew up with her parents. Her one and only venture into the field of modelling saw her win a photographic competition run by the local paper with the reward for this being no more than a voucher for some free clothing at a local store.
