When Christine died quiet unexpectedly nearly two years ago, I was lost. We had always been there for one another even if we were separated. I nearly lost my mind and probably would have if it were not for the kindness shown by old friends.

It was about 6 weeks after the funeral when I received an invitation for dinner from a couple I had know for nearly my entire life.
