"Oh man! That smarts" as I cut my finger trying to open a box of cups in the storage room. Doug hears me and glances over to make sure I'm okay. Trying to shake the pain away he grabs my hand to take a look.

"I think it will be alright. You may need a bandage but it's not going to need stitches." As he says this, he takes my hand up to his mouth and kisses it, all the while never taking his eyes off of mine.

At this moment you can imagine my heart slowly starting to melt. Never in my life had someone given me so much attention for such a little scratch.

The rest of the work day plays out as normal and we go our separate ways.
