For some reason that I cannot quite explain, I have been obsessing about this incident recently, so I thought I would write it down and share it.

Ann and I had not been going out for many months when we were invited to a themed party. The theme was "Stripes" and everyone was meant to dress in striped clothing. Innocent enough you might think.
