Kyle couldn't see how she was able to give up their future together and just walk away so easily. He and Julie had been boyfriend girlfriend since their freshman year in high school, and they often talked about marriage after graduation. But once they graduated she started to change into someone he didn't know.

At first it was just simple changes. She wouldn't answer hardly any of his calls when he dialed her on her cell phone. Then she started hanging out more often with her girlfriends and she started seeing him less and less.

Last week she finally broke down and told him that she wanted to move to California and try to get in the modeling field. When Kyle told her that he really didn't want to move so far from their home town, she told him that her plans didn't include him. She told him that she felt that their relationship had stagnated and that she wanted to see what life had to offer her.

Kyle tried to reason with her. He even offered to wait until she found out if it was what she really wanted, but she told him that she didn't see a future with him. and that he should move on.
