It was a lovely Saturday afternoon. My wife had left for her hometown. I was planning on what to make for lunch? Then I decided against cooking and planned to go out to eat. I drove down to this quaint little restaurant close to my house. I found a nice table and sat down. The waiter was beside me in no time and I placed my order. I was looking around the restaurant and that's when I noticed a lady sitting all alone like me and talking on her mobile phone. After a few minutes she disconnected the phone and put it down with a frown. I turned my stare from her and started checking the ambience of the restaurant.

They sure seemed to take their time to serve food. I took out a smoke and lit it. I stubbed it out after a few drags. My lunch was served. I relished on it and asked for the check, as I waited I pulled out one more cigarette from my pack and lit it. I saw the lady get up and walk over to my table she looked at me and asked me if she could borrow a light. I struck the match and lit her smoke. She thanked me and returned to her table. I came out of the restaurant when I saw her standing outside. She gave me a smile I returned the smile. Just then the valet returned and told her that her car wouldn't start.
