Violet was in the café when the heavens opened and the monsoon rain came pouring down. It was mid-afternoon, a slow period, and the café was empty. With the downpour it would probably stay that way for some time. Suddenly the door opened and a bedraggled figure entered, obviously soaked through. It took a moment for Violet to realize that it was Amy.
